On 3rd October 2017, for the benefit and development of the Devendra Kula Vellalar community established at Gandhipuram, Avinashi Taluka, Avinashi Town, North Ratha Road, Tiruppur District. In order to establish a trust for the above-mentioned people, our relatives and elders have met on 10.09.2017 with the aim of establishing marriage halls and educational institutions for the benefit of our people and to provide public services to the public and to develop and administer our Devendra Kula Vellalar community.
We have agreed to be the administrative trustees and to manage the trusts of our Devendra Kula Vellalar Math in a good manner and to fulfil the public interests described in this document. We have established this trust to acquire assets and develop the trusts of this Math.
Objectivs of the trust
1.To strive for unity, integrity and development in Union of India.
2.To establish unity among the Devendra Kula Vellalar community and to interact with other communities on the basis of equality, dharma and coexistence.
3.To work for the progress of the Devendra Kula Vellalar community in the fields of industry, commerce, education and economy.
4.To provide educational facilities, medical facilities, legal facilities, etc. for the benefit of all, and to establish educational institutions.
5.To promote joint marriages for the benefit of our community and to conduct them on behalf of our Trust.
6.To help deserving students to get educational facilities and get employment opportunities.
7.To continue to carry out spiritual activities such as the Chandrasekhara-Anandavalli Swamy Thirukalyanam and the White Elephant Parade, which are part of our Devendra Kul Samaj, during the Chithirai Car Festival festival held at the Arulmigu Avinashilingeswarar Temple every year.
8.To provide welfare schemes and assistance and benefits of the Central and State Governments to our foundation members.
9.To establish libraries in Devendra Kula Velalar Youth Welfare Associations. To create employment opportunities for the youth, to provide retirement benefits to the elderly. To establish marriage centres.
10.To provide assistance to the families of our community members to perform funeral rites in the event of their death.
11.To provide appreciation and prizes to encourage the best students among our clan members. To provide scholarships for higher studies.
12.To make arrangements for the annual Kamakshi Amman Pongal festival and beauty pageant and to collect alms tax from the families of the members and use it for divine service.
13.To collect donations, collect subscriptions and take steps to improve financial resources for the benefit of the foundation and to fulfil its objectives.
14.This foundation shall carry out only charitable works without any profit motive and without any political affiliation.
15. To provide food to devotees and the general public during public events such as the Chithirai Ther Festival and Kamakshi Amman Pongal festival.
